NineSigma Announces Open Innovation Gallery on NineSights to Support Forest Industry Transformation in Canada

NineSigma, the leading innovation partner to companies worldwide, today announces the growth of a new Innovation Gallery sponsored by Natural Resources Canada on NineSights. The Investments in Forest Industry (IFIT) Gallery is supporting Canada’s forest sector to become more economically competitive and environmentally sustainable.

NineSights’ Innovation Galleries are branded online marketplaces for companies, associations and government groups to post their technology needs and showcase technology offers. The IFIT Gallery is seeking to find new markets for a variety of innovative products made from renewable materials from sustainably managed forests, such as a new strong, lightweight composite core materials from renewable, sustainable forest products to achieve the look and feel of wood on metal or plastic surfaces.

The collaboration between NineSigma and IFIT through the creation of the Innovation Gallery aims to foster these relationships by showcasing the capabilities of IFIT-supported companies, and those seeking to further strengthen new products, markets and new partnerships. IFIT supported projects have commercialized many first-in-the-world technologies and products that can also provide solutions and new opportunities for major global players.
