After interning for River Cities, Marcus officially joined as an analyst in 2021. Marcus has experience developing microservice software. As a full-stack developer, he’s worked on UI/UX design, latency optimization, audiovisual processing, database architecture & security, API design, and most other facets of modern software.
Marcus received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Cincinnati (UC) in 2019. He continued his education at UC receiving a Master of Science in Finance and graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020. During his time in academics, he wrote a white paper on the economic ramifications of blockchain in financial markets under the mentorship of Dr. Steven Slezak: Academic Dean of the UC Lindner College of Business. In a separate but related white paper, he especially focused on blockchain’s role in title insurance.
