Ifbyphone Names Joshua Mallamud Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Ifbyphone, the leader in voice-based marketing automation, today announced a key addition to its executive team with the hire of Joshua Mallamud as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Mallamud comes to his new role from another rapidly growing Chicago company, Wavetable Labs. As COO of Wavetable Labs, Mallamud was responsible for developing a strategic partnership model and integration strategy while also evaluating and negotiating acquisition opportunities.

In his new role at Ifbyphone, Mallamud will be charged with all facets of the company’s partnership efforts including developing relationships with key partners, crafting integration strategies, commercialization and partner enablement. “Ifbyphone already has thousands of customers and that number is growing quickly. I’m excited to develop partnerships with other organizations that will help continue this upward trend,” said Mallamud.

Prior to joining Wavetable in 2013, Mallamud was founder and chief strategy officer of a social commerce business based in China and operating in eight countries across the Asia Pacific region. Mallamud is a former attorney with the Los Angeles–based firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson, LLP. He received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and his JD from the Northwestern University School of Law.
