Rob is currently a member of the boards of Flexcare Infusion, Endodontic Practice Partners and Faction. Rob served as a board member at Label Insight (sold to NielsenIQ), PerfectServe (sold to K1), MedPlast (sold to Water Street and JLL Partners), Lattice Engines (sold to Dunn & Bradstreet), Trax Technologies (sold to Strattam Capital), and observer to the boards of Building Engines (sold to JLL), MX Logic (sold to McAfee) and invivodata (sold to ERT).

Rob serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Christ Hospital Health Network where he chaired the Quality and Patient Safety Committee. In addition, he serves on the board of the Elizabeth Gamble Deaconess Home Association, a foundation dedicated to improving community healthcare services. He serves as an Advisory Board Member to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Innovation Ventures. Rob is also trustee emeritus of Starfire Council of Greater Cincinnati and co-chairs a regional selection committee for the University of Virginia’s Jefferson Scholarship Program.

Rob joined RCC in early 2004 with operations and investment experience in PE-backed technology companies with particular expertise in M&A transactions, channel development and corporate strategy. Prior to joining RC Capital, Rob led corporate development at Intelliseek, Inc., a marketing services company backed by River Cities, which successfully sold to Nielsen, Inc. Prior to that, he worked at Arthur Andersen & Co., consulting with new ventures on financing, M&A, accounting and tax issues. Rob holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with distinction. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia and was a CPA.

Rob finds every opportunity to spend with family, strives for the elusive Father of the Year award from his three boys, always up for a good laugh with friends, has a passion for scuba diving, traveling, plays mediocre golf, marginally better tennis and spoils the family’s pandemic rescue puppy. While out of race shape, he can be found swimming, running or pelotoning during his free time.

"We’ve been working hand in hand with River Cities since before our company was operational and their partnership has been key to our growth and success. Taking a company from being an idea, to earning that first dollar of revenue, and then to being a fully functional operating company takes a partner with vision, patience, business acumen, and leadership. Our partners at River Cities have these qualities in spades and without them we would not be where we are today; I cannot recommend them highly enough."

Sam Hutcheson

"RCC history and expertise in working with growth stage companies proved invaluable in the formative years of PerfectServe. While our strategy shifted to better meet market dynamics, the team at RCC was always there as a source of encouragement and business development. They made strategic introductions to some of our earliest hospital clients, contributing significantly to our growth. The people at RCC are creative, constructive and straightforward. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with them as my business partners."

Terrell Edwards

CEO, PerfectServe

"Over the past 30 years I have worked with many firms and found few true partners. You always hope a PE firm will bring more to the table than just cash but are often disappointed. RCC combines the quantitative skills to help a CEO fine tune a business model, deep industry expertise and the qualitative artistry to build a synergistic partnership with their portfolio companies."

Irv Shapiro

CEO, DialogTech

"RCC has been an invaluable partner to the management team and the total MedPlast investor syndicate. They have been a rock and a stabilizing force through some very rough and uncertain times. Their years of seasoned experience in business and finance have allowed the management team to focus on what's important in the short term without sacrificing the investment thesis. I can't imagine navigating through one of the most challenging business climates in modern US history without RCC."

Harold Faig

Former CEO, MedPlast

"The partnership with RCC and WaveCrest has been excellent. They have been active, value-added investors every step of the way, working hand-in-hand with the management team to grow the company. They offered great introductions to customers, partners and other investors along the way."

Tim Curran

CEO, Building Engines

"It would be impossible to overstate how positive our experience with RCC has been. Their terms are fair and age well, the team is knowledgeable and collaborative, and the breadth of their contacts and industry credibility seem to be endless. The insight and ongoing support of our vision has been invaluable resulting in a much stronger company than we were prior to the partnership."
