Patrick joined RCC in 2014 to focus on healthcare services and HCIT investments. He is active in all aspects of the firm’s investment origination, deal structuring and portfolio company management. He is currently on the Board of Directors of MindPath Health, Cognitive Research Corporation (CRC) and OnCall Solutions; he is also a Board Observer at UrgentTeam and Liquibase. Patrick also worked with previous RCC portfolio companies, TissueTech, and Health Integrated. Prior to joining RCC, Patrick worked for the CFO of a sponsor-backed technology company. Before that he worked at Ballast Point Ventures, where he worked on growth-stage investments in healthcare and technology. Patrick started his career with Raymond James & Associates in their investment banking department. In 2021, he was named to GrowthCap’s Top 25 Healthcare Investors.

Patrick graduated with a B.S. in finance with honors from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University where he was in the Health Sector Management (HSM) program.

Patrick serves on the boards of Communities in Schools (CIS) for Wake County and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) for the Triangle region.

Portfolio Companies

Patrick is an avid consumer of esoteric podcasts (and always looking for good recommendations). For fun, he enjoys spending time with his family. When not with them he is usually trying to stay active, endeavoring to keep up with his friends on the slopes, links or endurance races he was pressured into signing up for. He is a sports fan of his alma maters (Florida and Duke) and an ever-hopeful USMNT soccer supporter.

"River Cities was a terrific partner, and I thank them for their leadership and stewardship these last few years. We are excited to have found a like-minded organization in Community Psychiatry, who shares our values and aspirations. This combination will enable us to reach more patients in need and be an even better partner to our clinician, payer and employee stakeholders."
